Description

Scabiosa columbaria 'Pink Mist' has purple-pink pincushion flowers on fine stems over compact mounds of green foliage. Scabiosa 'Pink Mist' flowers from spring into fall. The blooms are nice for cutting and attractive to butterflies. Deadheading will keep plants looking tidy. This perennial is evergreen in the warmest zones.

Scabiosa columbaria 'Pink Mist' prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil. It dislikes winter wet. It will tolerate coastal conditions and withstands drought once established. Some afternoon shade is appreciated in warmer regions.
