Unique red and white flowers become all red during the heat of summer and return to two-toned with cooler weather. These semi-woody clumps with dark green foliage are loaded with blooms from early spring through fall with a brief pause in the very hot, dry periods in summer.
May be cut back hard in late May to promote better fall blooming. Very attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Scented foliage makes it deer and rabbit resistant. Southwest American Native.
