Pratia angulata has tiny, deep green foliage that spreads by multiple branched stems above the ground and by rhizomes below. Also known as White Star Creeper, it produces starry white flowers in spring and summer. Pratia angulata is semi-evergreen in mild climates. This very low-growing perennial can be used as a small lawn substitute and is also very nice in pond areas.
Pratia angulata prefers sun or light shade and moist to wet soil. Plants tolerate moderate to heavy foot traffic. Space on 8" centers.
