Phlox procumbens 'Variegata' is a creeping, mat-forming perennial phlox with glossy leaves of gray-green with creamy margins. Phlox 'Variegata produces lightly fragrant, mauve-pink blooms in late spring. Phlox procumbens 'Variegata' is an uncommon variety that is grown primarily for its evergreen foliage that takes on a suffused pink color in cooler weather.

Phlox procumbens is an interspecific hybrid of eastern North America natives Phlox stolonifera and Phlox subulata.

Phlox procumbens 'Variegata' prefers light to partial shade and moist to average, well-drained soil.
