Pardancanda norrisii ‘Dazzler’, commonly referred to as "Candy Lily", has striking lily-like flowers with narrow red, orange, purple, pink, and yellow petals centered around dark orange and brown stamen. Its showy and eye-catching blooms grow atop narrow green stems that feature iris-like leaves and sprouts from dense dark green, sword-shaped foliage.
Pardancanda ‘Dazzler’ typically blooms in mid to late summer and prefers to be grown in dry to medium moisture soil with full or partial sun, making it tolerant of drought once established. Attractive to butterflies and bees, Pardancanda ‘Dazzler’ will stand out in any border or rock garden and is enjoyed as a cut flower. Self sows.
Pardancanda norrisii results from a cross of Belamcanda chinensis and Pardanthopsis dichotoma. Parancanda 'Dazzler' is the work of Harlan Hamernik from Bluebird Nursery which produced this vibrant dwarf seed strain.
