Red Hot Poker Kniphofia 'Poco Orange' is a compact perennial with clumps of grassy green foliage and long stems with clusters of burnished orange blooms with red hot tips. An award winner, Kniphofia 'Poco Orange' is a dwarf variety that is very long blooming, starting in midsummer and continuing into mid autumn. A good plant for the deep South, Kniphofia is also known as Tritoma or Torch Lily. 'Poco Orange' is good for cutting, in containers and in the rock garden. Deciduous.

Kniphofia 'Poco Orange' prefers full sun and moist to average, well-drained, but not overly-dry soil. Good drainage is particularly important in winter.
