The scalloped, caramel colored leaves of Heuchera x 'Blondie' become burnished red when the weather cools. 'Blondie' produces dense spikes of creamy yellow blooms from late spring through mid fall. With its dwarf habit, heavy blooming and showy evergreen foliage, this charming Coral Bells is suitable for containers as well as the border. A hybrid of native species, it is a good performer in the deep South.
Heuchera 'Blondie' prefers mostly shade, particularly in the afternoon. It grows best in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil. Frequent division helps this perennial to maintain its vigor.
