Fragaria vesca 'Golden Alexandria' is a runnerless, Alpine Strawberry with delightful lime-green to gold foliage that stays neat and compact. 'Golden Alexandria's white flowers are followed by small, sweet red fruits summer through fall - Delightful if you can get to them before the birds do! An easy to grow, evergreen perennial, it is nice along a path or walk for easy picking.

Fragaria vesca 'Golden Alexandria' prefers light shade and rich, moist, well-drained soil. It can take more sun in cooler areas

Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.
