Selaginella kraussiana 'Aurea' forms low, mossy cushions of feathery, chartreuse foliage that spreads well to make an excellent ground cover for dark shady areas. It will take a small amount of foot traffic. Commonly called, Golden Clubmoss, it is lovely spilling over the edge of a container. Selaginella kraussiana 'Aurea' Golden Clubmoss, sometimes also called Goldtip Spikemoss, is great for humid regions. It is deciduous in colder parts of its range. It can be grown indoors in terrariums as well as outdoors.
Selaginella kraussiana 'Aurea' prefers shade and constantly moist soil and high humidity. Do not allow it to completely dry out or leaves will turn brown.
