Athyrium otophorum 'Okanum' Eared Lady Fern, has delicate, silvery blue-green fronds with maroon-purple stems that unfurl from burgundy red fiddleheads in spring and continue coming throughout the season. Eared Lady fern is a deciduous fern native to Eastern Asia. It is sometimes used in place of Maidenhair fern, where a lacy looking fern is desired.
Athyrium otophorum Eared Lady Fern prefers partial to full shade and consistently moist, well-drained soil. It will tolerate heavy shade.
