Echinops sphaerocephalus 'Arctic Glow' is a tall plant with large, blue-white, globe-shaped flowers on reddish silver stems. The rough, bristly foliage of Echinops 'Arctic Glow' has white undersides. This uncommon plant, also known as Globe Thistle, makes a statement in the garden and its blooms are nice for cutting or drying.

Echinops sphaerocephalus 'Arctic Glow' prefers full sun and needs well-drained soil. Echinops 'Arctic Glow' is tolerant of poor, sandy and dry soils and great for coastal conditions.
