Description

Dianthus gratianopolitanus 'Tiny Rubies' produces very short plants with loads of tiny, fragrant, double rose-pink flowers. The grassy blue-green foliage of perennial Dianthus 'Tiny Rubies' forms petite mounds that are cute in containers and fairy gardens.

Also called Pinks, Dianthus 'Tiny Rubies' prefers full sun and well-drained, slightly alkaline soil that is drier in winter. Tolerant of drought and coastal conditions.

Care and Growing Tips

When the blooms are all or mostly spent, trim the plant back by about 1/3 of its size. This will refresh the foliage and encourage rebloom.

If you'd like to receive your order on a different week, you can leave a note for us on the Cart page before you reach checkout, or respond to the order confirmation email after you place the order.

We only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays so the plants can travel safely during the weekdays.

We ship via UPS or USPS (the Post Office), and their ship rates are automatically generated through our site. We do not profit on shipping costs. We are working with these providers to get our customers the best rates possible.

All ship times are subject to change if extreme weather conditions are present here at the nursery or at the shipping destination.

Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.

We are currently not able to ship to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and outside of the US.
