Delosperma cooperi, or Ice Plant, has silky, magenta, daisy-like flowers with yellow centers over succulent needle-like foliage. Delosperma cooperi blooms from early summer to early fall. Delosperma cooperi may self sow, but it is not a nuisance. This perennial Ice Plant is deciduous.
Delosperma cooperi prefers full sun and lean, fast-draining soil, particularly in winter. Avoid heavy wet clay soil. Tolerant of coastal conditions. Great for containers, rock gardens, and along pathways. Attractive to butterflies. Deer resistant.
