Bigelowia nuttallii, or Rayless Goldenrod, is a tough, evergreen perennial with rayless yellow flowers in late summer. Bigelowia nuttallii has narrow grassy leaves on slim upright stems up to 20" that are topped by broad, brush-like clusters of goldenrod-like blooms that attract late summer pollinators. Great for rock garden and dry areas.
Bigelowia nuttallii prefers full sun and well-drained soil and is well adapted to arid, rocky and exposed sites. Also found in wet acidic savannahs and seeps. Native from the southeast to Texas.
