Bergenia cordifolia 'Winterglut' Saxifrage



Commonly known as "Saxifrage" or "Pigsqueak", Bergenia 'Winterglut' is a perennial adored for its sweet, rosy-red flowers in late spring, and red to bronze foliage in the winter.

Bergenia 'Winterglut' Pigsqueak will slowly spread by rhizomes, forming a ground cover. It prefers shade and cool soils, and can withstand coastal conditions and clay soils.

Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.
