Heuchera villosa 'Autumn Bride' forms large mounds of large, fuzzy, chartreuse to lime-green leaves. Commonly referred to as as Coral Bells, Heuchera 'Autumn Bride' sends up fountains of creamy white flowers on narrow stems above the foliage in late summer. It is long-blooming and suitable as a cut flower.

Also known as Alumroot, Heuchera villosa is an evergreen perennial native to the southeastern United States. Heuchera 'Autumn Bride' is one of the best performers in the humid south and mid-Atlantic states.

Heuchera 'Autumn Bride' prefers light to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. It is very heat and drought tolerant once established. Frequent division helps to maintain its vigor. 'Autumn Bride' readily self-sows.

Care and Growing Tips

Prefers partial shade (afternoon shade), but tolerates full shade. Prefers average to rich soil. Evergreen in mild winters. Plants need good drainage. Excess moisture in winter can cause crown rot. Division every few years can help to maintain vigor. Remove dead leaves and bloom stalks as necessary.

To get the best shipping rates per plant, try to fill a box of 3, 6, or 12. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout by weight, package size, and distance.

Our nursery is located in Virginia, and it can sometimes be costly to ship to the western US. Ground shipping is too slow cross-country for the plants to arrive safely, so our options are limited to faster shipping methods. We appreciate your understanding!

Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.
