Dryopteris erythrosora 'Brilliance' Autumn Fern is a form that is brighter than the species. The young fronds of 'Brilliance Autumn fern emerge a wonderful lustrous orange color and the mature green fronds maintain some of their orange coloration and shine. 'Brilliance' Autumn fern is a wonderful mid-sized, evergreen fern for a wide range of conditions. It is our most popular with landscapers.

Dryopteris erythrosora 'Brilliance' Autumn fern prefers light to full shade and is tolerant of a wide range of soils with adequate drainage. This fern will self-sow where happy. 'Brilliance' Autumn fern tolerates some sun.

Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.
