Ajuga reptans 'Chocolate Chip' has small, narrow purplish-green colored leaves and spikes of blue flowers in early to mid-spring. Also known as Bugleweed, this evergreen perennial plant is short enough for use in areas with occasional foot traffic.

Ajuga reptans 'Chocolate Chip' is happiest in partial shade and moist, well-drained conditions. Ajuga can also tolerate clay soil and coastal conditions. Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' can be used as ground cover that will tolerate moderate foot traffic. Space on 12" centers.
