Description

Carex 'Evergold' Japanese Sedge has handsome, grass-like foliage, whose blades are creamy white, edged in dark green. Carex 'Evergold' has a swirling, mounding form that is nice in containers as well as used as an evergreen ground cover.

Like other Carex oshimensis, Carex Evergold' prefers moist soil, but tolerates extremes from wet to dry soil. It may be trimmed back by two thirds in early spring. A landscaper favorite.

    Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.
