Description

Rudbeckia fulgida var. speciosa 'Viette's Little Suzy' has 2" golden yellow daisies with dark brown centers. It has good disease resistance and does not typically get black spot on the leaves. Although the blooms of Rudbeckia 'Viette's Little Suzy' are not particularly large, they are produced in great abundance over several months. The basal foliage turns mahogany in fall. This cultivar is superior to R. 'Goldsturm' by being more disease resistant.

Rudbeckia fulgida is native from Texas to Michigan, eastward to New York and south to Florida. The variety speciosa has a more limited range, mostly in the eastern American Midwest eastward to the coast. Rudbeckia fulgida is typically found in meadows, savannas, open woods, and other sunny damp areas.

Rudbeckia 'Viette's Little Suzy' prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil, but is tolerant of most soil types. Good rain garden plant. One of our favorites!

We ship via UPS & USPS (the Post Office), and their ship rates are automatically generated through our site. We do not profit on shipping costs. We are working with these providers to get our customers the best rates possible.

All ship times are subject to change if extreme weather conditions are present here at the nursery or at the shipping destination.

Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.

We are currently not able to ship to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and outside of the US.
