Coreopsis verticillata 'Zagreb', has finely cut, needle-like, bright green leaves and masses of small golden-yellow daisy type flowers and a vase-shaped habit. Also known as Tickseed, songbirds love their tick-shaped seeds.

Coreopsis verticillata 'Zagreb' is native primarily to the Southeastern United States.

Coreopsis verticillata 'Zagreb' prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil. It also tolerates clay soil. The blooms of Coreopsis 'Zagreb' are much deeper yellow than those of C. 'Moonlight' and plants spread less vigorously than C. 'Golden Gain'.
