Gaillardia 'Arizona Sun' has 4" single, mahogany-red flowers with yellow petal edges. Gaillardia 'Arizona Sun' is an award winning dwarf variety that stays a foot tall or shorter. Blanket flower Gaillardia 'Arizona Sun' can be grown in poor soils and looks best with deadheading which will encourage repeat bloom.

Also known as Blanket flower, Gaillardia x grandiflora is a hybrid between a northern N. American perennial species and an annual species native to the southern two-thirds of North America.

Gaillardia x grandiflora 'Arizona Sun' prefers full sun and well-drained soil making it a great perennial for coastal areas. Gaillardia x grandiflora is a very drought tolerant perennial that thrives in poor soil.
