Callirhoe bushii has upward-facing, cup-shaped, magenta blooms for a long season on spreading plants that get about 18" tall. Perennial Callirhoe bushii will weave through flower beds, but does not root at nodes.
Also know as Poppy Mallow, Callirhoe bushii prefers full sun to part shade and medium to dry soils. Its deep central tap-root makes it very drought tolerant, once established, but also harder to move. Native to the central US.
