Description

Allium 'Lavender Bubbles' produces ball-shaped clusters of dark purple blooms on tall leafless stems in late summer. Its dusty blue-green leaves are twisted and curled adding interest to this ornamental onion even when not in bloom. This perennial is attractive to butterflies and pollinators. 'Lavender Bubbles' flowers are darker purple and bloom later than Allium 'Millenium'.

'Lavender Bubbles' Allium prefers full sun to light shade and well-drained soil. A drought tolerant plant, it is well adapted to sandy soil. It is suitable for containers.
