Agastache 'Black Adder' has smoky-lilac flowers that open from dark purple buds. Its deep green foliage is very fragrant. Erect, bushy plants bear spikes of showy tubular flowers over a long season. Also called Hummingbird Mint, Agastache prefer full sun and require well-drained soil. Established plants are tolerant of drought conditions. Agastache 'Black Adder' does not require staking as long as the soil is not too rich. Its lush spikes of purple blooms make Agastache 'Black Adder' the butterflies' favorite hummingbird mint in our nursery. Suitable for an herb garden or mixed border, they are highly attractive to pollinators, hummingbirds, and butterflies. Deer resistant.
