Phlox paniculata 'Jeana' is a very long blooming Garden Phlox. Its pink blooms are smallish but produced in huge numbers that are exceptionally attractive to butterflies. Also known as Summer Phlox, Phlox 'Jeana' has "outstanding mildew resistance".
Phlox paniculata is native from Maine to Georgia and west to Minnesota and Louisiana. Typically found in woodland clearings or moist meadows, it is uncommon in the wild, but its cultivars are perennial garden favorites.
Phlox paniculata 'Jeana' prefers full sun and consistently moist, well-drained soil. Remove faded flowers to encourage repeat blooming. Cut back by half in June for prettiest form.
