Description

Silene ‘Druett’s Variegated’ is a low-growing cushion of showy green leaves surrounded by creamy-white edges. Also known as ‘Catchfly’, ‘Druett’s Variegated’ produces tiny white, five petaled flowers that bloom along narrow, sticky stems in early summer.

Best grown in full sun to partial shade, Silene ‘Druett’s Variegated’ prefers fertile, coarse, well-drained soil and is tolerant of coastal conditions and drought. Silene ‘Druett’s Variegated’ fits perfectly in any border garden or container and its long-blooming, evergreen appearance is sure to attract a wide variety of pollinators. Avoid winter wet.
