Monarda didyma 'Grape Gumball' has bright fuchsia-purple flowers in midsummer on very mildew-resistant, mid-size plants. Monarda 'Grape Gumball' is part of the Sugar Buzz Hybrid series, bred for compact form, mid-height, and mildew resistant foliage, as well as floriferous nature.

Monarda didyma is a perennial that is native to the eastern United States and Canada, as well as to Washington and Oregon. It is naturally found in wet meadows, bottomlands, moist open woods, thickets and other wet sites, most commonly in mountain areas.

Monarda 'Grape Gumball' prefers full sun to part shade and consistently moist soil for best appearance. If foliage gets ugly cut back hard for fresh clean growth. Long blooming, if kept deadheaded.

All orders placed now will be held until late August/early September when our fall shipping season begins. We stop shipping plants every summer due to the high temperatures. We appreciate your patience!

If you'd like to receive your order before our fall season, you can leave a note for us on the Cart page before you reach checkout. Please note that we will have to wait for a window of cooler temperatures to ship. We cannot promise any particular shipping date during the summer.
