Description

Liriope muscari 'Pee Dee Ingot' has narrow, bright yellow leaves that form a 10" tall clump with lavender blooms on 12" stalks. Also known as Monkey Grass, this Liriope will provide great contrast in the border. The color intensity of Liriope 'Pee Dee Ingot' depends on the amount of light it receives, maintaining brighter gold color in more sun or paling to charteuse green in more shade. Liriope muscari is a clump-forming monkey grass that does not spread by runners or rhizomes.

Liriope 'Pee Dee Ingot' prefers light to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. It requires extra moisture during extreme heat to avoid browning of the leaf tips. Its best color is achieved in bright shade or at the edges of shade beds. This uncommon Liriope is exceptional in the border or container.

We ship via UPS & USPS (the Post Office), and their ship rates are automatically generated through our site. We do not profit on shipping costs. We are working with these providers to get our customers the best rates possible.

All ship times are subject to change if extreme weather conditions are present here at the nursery or at the shipping destination.

Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.

We are currently not able to ship to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and outside of the US.
