Ajuga 'Blueberry Muffin' has brilliant blueberry blue flowers on 8" spikes set above dense mats of deep green leaves. Its new growth emerges dark bronze. Ajuga 'Blueberry Muffin' blooms in late spring or early summer. A very vigorous variety, it is stronger and grows faster than Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip'.
The thicker leaves of Ajuga 'Blueberry Muffin' make it more botrytis resistant than others. Also known as Bugleweed, these semi-evergreen perennial plants are typically used as a groundcover.
