Salvia nemorosa 'Bumbleberry' is a compact cultivar that produces loads of spires of dark fuchsia pink to violet blooms with dark purple calyxes in early summer. The blooms are very attractive to pollinators. Wonderful in containers, place them where bumblebees and other pollinators can be easily observed. 'Bumbleberry' foliage stays nice all season so it makes a nice edger. The fragrant leaves are deer and rabbit resistant.
Salvia nemorosa 'Bumbleberry' prefers full sun and average, well-drained soil. It appreciates a little extra water when conditions are very hot or dry. Remove old bloom stems to encourage longer blooming.
