Nepeta subsessilis 'Sweet Dreams' produces sturdy, upright stems of lovely lavender-pink flowers with purple calyxes atop mounds of medium green, fragrant foliage. Nepeta 'Sweet Dreams' is different from the common Catmint, Nepeta faassenii, with its large, bright green leaves and upright form. It flowers from middle summer into early fall. Deadheading will increase bloom time. Excellent for massing.
Unlike most Nepeta, Nepeta subsessiilis prefers some shade, especially in warm areas. Nepeta 'Sweet Dreams' is best in partial shade and moist soil.
