Leopard Plant, Ligularia 'Aureomaculata' has glossy, dark green 6" wide leaves with bold, yellow, random spots. An evergreen perennial, it produces stems of large daisy-like, yellow gold flowers in mid to late autumn. Ligularia tussilaginea 'Aureomaculata' is long blooming. In good conditions it will form an exceptional and attractive ground cover.
Also known as Farfugium japonicum, Ligularia 'Aureomaculata' prefers partial to full shade and cool, moist, well-drained soil that does not dry out in summer. It is drought tolerant and will typically recover from a wilted state when it gets moisture.
