Red Hot Poker Kniphofia hirsuta 'Fire Dance' is a dwarf hybrid that produces spikes of coral red and greenish yellow flowers from mid to late summer. The tall stems stand above the stiff clumps of semi-evergreen, arching, sword-like foliage. A very hardy Red Hot Poker, Kniphofia 'Fire Dance' is good for cutting, growing in containers or in the rock garden. Kniphofia is also sometimes known as Tritoma or Torch Lily.

Kniphofia 'Fire Dance' prefers full sun and average, medium to moist, well-drained, but not overly-dry soil. Good drainage is particularly important in winter.
