Aegopodium podagraria 'Variegatum' makes attractive, deciduous mats of creamy white and mint-green variegated leaves. Commonly referred to as Bishopweed or Goutweed, this perennial has white blooms in early summer.
Aegopodium podagraria 'Variegatum' prefers partial shade and well-drained soil. It can be invasive and should only be grown in a confined area or in a container. Remove blooms to prevent self-sowing. Aegopodium podagraria 'Variegatum' tolerates poor soil, heat and dry conditions. Good under trees in contained areas.
