Convallaria majalis has fragrant, white 1/4" bell-shaped flowers that dangle along its slender stems. Commonly referred to as Lily of the Valley, Convallaria majalis' broad, spathe-shaped, deep green leaves arise from the ground. This charming perennial flower is an excellent rhizomatous groundcover for shady areas. A vigorous spreader. Lily of the Valley prefers humus-rich soil with consistent moisture. Tolerates most soil types.
