Description

These short-spurred, pure white flowers dance above the lacy foliage like miniature doves. Commonly known as "Columbine," Aquilegia 'Nana Alba' is an elegant shade plant with deeply cut, lacy, blue-green foliage.

Aquilegia 'Nana Alba' Columbine thrives in moist, well-drained soil and part to full shade. It can tolerate some morning sun, but will need shade in the afternoon.

This beautiful perennial is an excellent choice for woodland gardens and any shady spot.

Care and Growing Tips

For a tidy appearance, deadhead after blooming (cut each flower stem down to the rest of the foliage). The foliage may discolor in the heat or occasionally attract leaf miners. Trim off any affected foliage to encourage new growth.

We ship via UPS & USPS (the Post Office), and their ship rates are automatically generated through our site. We do not profit on shipping costs. We are working with these providers to get our customers the best rates possible.

All ship times are subject to change if extreme weather conditions are present here at the nursery or at the shipping destination.

Please note: Depending on the time of year, the foliage of the plants may be trimmed to fit into our shipping boxes. This could delay the flowering of the plant, but many perennials actually benefit from being cut back.
